Greetings Kos community,
I am a Houston woman Kossack diarist preparing for a big life change. I am radically downsizing, and moving to Oregon to live a more simple life. I will be driving a small car loaded with my most essential belongings from Houston to Salem the last week in September.
I am worried about my car being broken into along the way if I stay at motels. I am seeking fellow Kossacks at key points along the journey who might be willing to allow me to park my loaded car in a safe driveway, and sleep on your couch overnight. Basically a parking space, cot and shower, then I’m off.
My tentative path is:
· Sept 27 Houston --> Amarillo or vicinity
· Sept 28 Amarillo--> SW Colorado or vicinity – Durango? Suggestions appreciated.
· Sept 29 SW Colorado --> Provo, UT or vicinity
· Sept 30 Provo --> Boise, ID
· Oct 1 Boise --> destination
This path could change depending on drive time, interesting shiny things spotted along the way, blizzards, forest fires, the Rapture, or Donald Trump doing something so crazy that I am dumbstruck.
